Know a mini wanna-be sous chef? Take them to Mehtaphor for a cooking lesson from Chef Mehta. Classes are every Friday and open to all children between the ages of 4 and 16. CHEF JEHANGIR MEHTA

Chef Jehangir Mehta is an accomplished Chef with an impressive resume of NY kitchens. A Jean Georges alum, he also worked with Rocco di Spirito at Union Pacific. He is perhaps most widely recognized for his celebrity appearances on Food Network shows, such as “Iron Chef America,” “The Next Iron Chef,” and most recently, “Iron Chef: Redemption.” Chef Mehta also owns the Lower East Side’s Graffiti and provides the menu for NU Hotel Brooklyn’s bar and lounge, Misdemeanor.
